Default Liability question

We purchased a home that was turned back to the bank by a builder. We have finished the home and it is now for sale. Do we have any liability after it is sold? We have done finish work, nothing structural, but I want to be certain. Thanks!

You probably want to talk to a lawyer. Someone can sue you for anything; the question is, will it have any merit?

My gut says you would be liable. But I am not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV.
