I'm Chris Redding, from Donalds, South Carolina. I work for a real estate company in Greenwood SC that specializes in the sale of Timberland, Farm land, and other rural property. I've been in this business for a little over two years, and work under the expertise of my broker, John McDill. He's been selling land in SC for over 26 years.

I started out at North Carolina State University studying Forest Management. After graduating my wife and I moved to her home town of Donalds, SC. We now live on a farm that has been in the family since the 1850's. At first I worked exclusiveley for a local forest consultant. A little over two years ago I started working in the land sales business. It has been a very rewarding experience, allowing me to put my forestry skills to good use. It seems that very few agents in our area have a grasp on timber value, forest management, plat reading, and other skills necessary to properly represent land. I still work for the same forest consultant several timese each year to keep my skills sharpened. We've even done some forest management for some of the people who've bought land from me in the past.
