I can assist you in obtaining UNSECURED credit lines under a business entity such as a corporation or LLC, which you enable you to finance your own “deals.” With a line of credit, your business can borrow funds (up to a pre-approved limit), repay the balance, and then borrow again as needed.
My services are designed to provide you with a basic understanding of establishing business credit by teaching you the necessary steps to qualify for business credit. Once you have mastered the basics of business credit, you should be able to put together a credit building plan to reach your financing needs by establishing a solid business credit foundation.
Failure to follow the necessary steps will complicate an already difficult process. Such complication could ultimately cause your company to fail to qualify for its credit needs. You must take great care and meticulously follow the steps I have outlined as they may appear very simple, but can be very complicated if not properly understood.
Another aspect of business credit which must be considered is the personal credit of the owners and officers of the corporation. There are various types of credit available to companies under a corporate structure which are not available to sole proprietors and partnerships. This is due to how banks and creditors view a corporation vs. a sole proprietor ("DBA"). When you conduct business as a corporation you are automatically considered a sophisticated business person, whereas the longer you conduct business as a DBA the more likely you will be considered an unsophisticated business person by banking and lending institutions. Usually, as a company begins applying for loans and credit it will be asked to provide a personal guarantee from an owner or an officer. For this reason, great care should be given to personal credit scores, as this will have a role to play in the company's credit building process. BAD OR POOR PERSONAL CREDIT WILL NOT STOP YOU FROM BUILDING BUSINESS CREDIT; HOWEVER, IT WILL SLOW DOWN THE PROCESS.
