Is there a place where we can look at the list of homes that are foreclosure I have read on here where some of you gets real nices homes and pays hardly nothing for them.
Where can I find a list for these homes I live in Indiana? Plus how do you go about buying them?
all the lists are old barbie . by the time they get out they have been piked over .. check the foreclosure forum I posted an Idea that worked for me there
Well, the really good deals are hard to come by...unfortunately they are all too often "insider" deals made by people who are friends with the banks. It's too bad, really.
We bought a home on foreclosure a year or so ago that turned out to be a really good deal. It was listed on MLS by that time, and the price had been dropped substantially. I honestly have no idea how it was still available, but we snatched it up, put $20K into improvements and will probably be able to sell it for a nice profit.
But that's really rare. I don't expect to get that lucky again for awhile.
If you have a good realtor, s/he may be able to help you out.

Do you have a link to this I'm sorry I could nto find it.
Thanks
Barbie, you may also want to check out hud homes, thats where I found mine. Im not sure but I think the link is www.hud.gov. Also the realestate agents that are able to sell foreclosed and hud homes get an updated list every so often (or they do in my area) and they email that list right to me. I go through remax, you may try calling some agents.
Everyone I know that buys foreclosed homes either buy them when they're up for sherrif sale or they go buy the lists from the bank. Those are the only ways I know of to do that.
