Post Property Tax Deferment

Qualified homeowners are able to defer the payment of annual property taxes on their homes.
The deferred taxes are paid by the Province on behalf of the owner.

The deferred taxes must be repaid with interest and administration fee to the Province, either:
- before the home can be transferred to a new owner
- upon the owner's death.

This is a wonderful program for someone who has lived in their home for many years, does not want to leave but cannot cope with the increased property taxes. Call 250-387-0555 for more information.
