Post Avoid renting out 4+ bedroom house, keep rental house small

People buy condos, townhouses that have no lot, low maintenance for rental house. You also limit number of rooms to be 2-3 bedrooms at most. 4+ bedroom house is not fit for rental unless you are in city center, renting them out room-by-room and self occupying one room, only in that case, a big house will work.
Big house with big lot tend to attract large families, which may speed up the wear and tear of the house. A large lot require a lot of maintenance.
