it's been my experience that a family typically wants to sell ASAP because of fear the property may become a burden, especially if there is a mortgage or upkeep involved. The family may not want to put in the time to list it with an agent because of the uncertainty that it may not sell, even at a discount. Some real estate investors can close in as little as 5-7 business days, and that can be a huge relief to a grieving family. |
