My conversation with my son My son: Why do you buy this house while we don't live in there?
Me: Do you remember the Monoply game we played together last time?
My son: I see, now I see the connection.
My son: Why do we move to this new location? I like my current place and I don't want to move.
Me: Do you remember the Monopoly game we played last time? Remember I rolled the dice and moved 7 steps and felled into your multi-housing slot? I ended up having to pay you all the rents and I bankrupt myself?
My son: I see now. You simply created a new slot other people may fall in...
Me: Now you know, life is like a Monopoly game.
My son: (Giggling), it's fun...
Like father, like son, we don't discuss boring issues like IRA or 401K, although I have a lot in 401K. |
