Default The crucial first deal

First of all, I would like to say thank you to for providing this forum.

I have read a good bit about real estate investing, but I have yet to have a deal. There are plenty of information sources that show how to get a lots of deals. Does anyone have any ideas or advice on getting that crucial first deal. From there the momentum should build. But the first one seems hardest.

I am interested in multi-family properties.

Thank you for your advice.
