It wasn't a question. I know they don't get title. I didn't understand his response. My orignial post was how to find a long term escrow agent to hold the WD and QC deed until the CFD is paid or they default.

His response was talking about a policy, I assume a title policy. But that is not done on a CFD, so I didn't understand where he was going with that line.

DUCTCH... I can't believe you asked this... Under a Contract For Deed or
Land Contract the key issue is you buy without getting title... You buy but
you don't get title to the property until you pay the full amount due.
