History:
Home was built in 1904. The Dempworth family was the 1st German
immigrants into Cleburne, Texas. They built and ran the 1st General
Store in town. They were the 1st to own a motorcycle in Cleburne,
TX. This home housed military soldiers during the war.
This home is featured on the 'Candlewalk Tour of Historic Homes' each
holiday season.
I have a copy of April 2001 Appraisal Report. The comps in the area
support the
$ 177,000.00 and Higher. This could be higher now as the roof and the
downstairs bath have/will be done. Owner says homes in the area sell
