Default Short Sale Offer Denied - by Insurance Company???

I submitted a beautiful package to Wells Fargo (it really is beautiful - it has everything in it that would motivate a bank to accept a short sale) and I got their denial back today, not from them but because the insurance company didn't like the terms of the offer. Wells Fargo asked that I re-submit the package (indicating to me that they're ready to accept the offer if I can figure out what's got the insurance company in a rift & satisfy them).

Anyone run into this before? I'm not a short sale "expert" but I've been around the block, and haven't had problems with the insurance company.

Any and all suggestions would be of great help.

Thanks,
Naomi
