Jackson, Mississippi is one of the places that people moved to after Hurricane Katrina. This mass migration has brought about a housing boom in the city. This increase in demand for Jackson real estate makes the city one of the most profitable for investors right now. Anytime a large number of people move into an area in a short amount of time, there is a growth experienced in the housing market. This is the best time for investors to begin investing in real estate in the area. Such is the case with Jackson real estate.

The average home price for Jackson real estate is $144,000. This affordable price is well below the national average for home prices.
