The public worldwide loves real estate as an investment vehicle.

Most families have had good results with their investment in a home. The home often doubles, triples, or quadruples in value over a period of years. This real-life experience is passed on from parent to child, resulting in a favorable image for real estate. And many kids know that in recent years their parents refinanced their home to pay for the child's education. Could anyone ask for a better result from an investment? Or the stock broker who is interested in taking your project public might instead decide to offer it privately to clients. This is called a private offering. Such an offering will—in general—get you your real estate money faster than a public offering. It takes about 90 days to do a public offering. A private offering can be done in 90 minutes. How can you raise the money you need for your real estate idea? Form a Real Estate Investment Trust. There all kinds of multi-unit REITs today, such as:

* Hospital REITs.
* Marina REITs.
* Apartment house REITs.
* Nursing home REITs. 
* Hotel REITs. 
* Vacation home REITs. 
* Mortgage REITS which lend money on real estate.
* And other REITs.

You can certainly find a REIT and a REIT can own real estate or lend on real estate.
